Looking for the right trailer for a RF246

Hello all. I am writing to you from the Stonington area of Connecticut. We are in the process of buying a used 246 Wheelhouse model. Can anyone give information on the following: We would like to trailer this boat and it doesn't have a trailer. What is recommened to trailer this boat. Secondly, the boat doesn't have a windlas set up and would like to add one. Any suggestions. Thanks .

Can't help with the trailer but the Rosbourough site may have that info for you.
  As to the windlass-we have the Lewmar V700 on our RF246 and works just fine with 50' of chain and 200' of line.

Have found Shorelander Trailers  expensive.  There are many, many manufacturers out there.  One shop set ups and manufacturers with dealer networks.  If your not in a hurry take the time to shop around.  Have found pricing can vary widely on identical trailers (apples to apples).  Four digits if you can believe that.

We have a Maxwell Freedom  500 windless on our boat.  It works very well.  This particular model has been recommended in past reviews by various boating publications.  It's a good looking piece with a low profile.
