Cloud Nine's in her 'repair facility'. OK, it does look remarkably like her winter shrouds have just been rolled up but what was once winter protection has now become an official Repair Facility  Smiley

And here's a new use for the Dinette/Sofa area!

1st update is the installation of our Force 10 Propane heater.
Thank you Lanny Oakes for all the info you provided about your installation!

Then the new chartplotter got installed:

OK....now those of you with radars are gonna think, "What the heck are those hicks in Vermont up to?! They think they're gonna pick up a signal with a garbage can lid??"

Not to worry. Craig just wanted determine where our future radar unit could fit on our already crowded roof.

Cloud Nine's getting ready to splash! And I believe she's bound for the Potomac on the morning of May 10th!

Scotia Mist had a very similar appearance about two weeks ago. I think I had more tools in the boat then in the garage. I like the work bench he made with the saw horse. TWO DRILLS.... my goodness!

  That new Garmin looks sweet!

Have you tried out the Force heater yet? Looks like it would put out a lot of heat. Do you know what the BTU rating is for that unit?

I like the tin can radar!

Tried out the Force 10 for awhile, but the temp outside was about 75 so it was hard to get a feel for how much it was warming things up. It's still burning off stuff that makes me cough - but we have high hopes for it!
Glad you like the Garmin. So do we! We were surprised how good the coastal charts on it are. We bought a G2 Vision chip for the St. Lawrence - that includes Lake Champlain, the Thousand Islands, Quebec City - and all sorts of good things. But the chip doesn't knock our socks off. It gives more information - even streets, restaurants and other land based stuff. But the basic coastal info isn't improved all that much. So it may be our only chip purchase.
Craig's hoping to finish up the carpentry/plumbing/electrical work and clear out all his tools so I can get in there this weekend and start cleaning & loading our gear. I've only got two weekends to get us set for the Potomac trip....huff, huff!

The dreaded clean up....
I had the pleasure of doing Karen's share of the cleaning work this year. She is nearing the end of an on line class at UMass and very busy so the duty fall on to me.
I have a whole new view and respect for what she does every spring.
